Hi I'm Charles, Game Design student from France. I was born in Marseille and I am in my last year of Master's degree at the ICAN Institute of Animation and Digital Creation, an eminent Digital Creation School located in Paris.
My interest in Game Design was sparked when I was only 7 or 8 years old as I discovered the Warcraft III level editor. Since then, I always loved the idea of making games and kept Game Design in mind. Today, I am a Game Design apprentice in my last year of Master, proud to have kept my inspiration for all these years and thrilled at what is to come. I also tend to specialize myself in System Design, as all the possible interactions between systems reinforce the gameplay and make each game so unique. I have devoted the last years to improve my skills in various domains, cultivate my knowledges and discover new games genres out of my play habits. Participating in Game Jams has also been a great way for me to approach new ways of making games.
The games I have the most affinities with are games that have an emphasis on strategy/tactics, strong interactions between systems and encourage the player to build its very own gaming experience. Whether they are Grand Strategy, 4X, RTS, Open worlds, tactical RPGs, co-op or PVP games, I always take pleasure in playing and experimenting with all the possibilities offered by these games. Games based on history or on a strong license are my favorites, and I always enjoy diving into any new and interesting universe.
Aside from Game Development, I am curious and highly passionate. Constantly seeking new knowledges and trials, I have always been open to all hobbies.
