TEACHING-LEARNING ACTIVITIES IN GREECE- summary
OBJECTIVES
To enhance teaching methods for more attractive STEM disciplines clases.
To break barriers and fears in the implementation process of these strateties.
To increase the teachers´s motivation and competences in the use of these strategies as a way to prevent the early school leaving and school failure.
METHODS AND INSTRUMENTS
Workshops.
Visits to professionals and centres who work with these strategies.
Group discussions after the workshops.
We have to cancel the visits to schools due to covid restrictions.
ACTIVITIES
Flipped classroom and other inclusive methodologies. Greek institution makes a presentation about the contribution of ICT in the improvement of our pupils competences. It is a presentation to help to those teachers to understand well the meaning of these inclusive methodologies to: a- increase their pupils motivation; b- to learn and develop competences following a practical approach, “to learn by doing”, trying to use diffferent intelligences, with a active involvement of the pupils, among other ideas.
Agter the presentation, we made a group discussion and we saw some videos regarding this topic.
School dropout: the Fairy tale and the game as methods of dealing with fear in school. We visit and work with professionals of “The house of folktales”. We develop some workshops to be aware of how could start the process of bullying even when anybody thinks that this is bullying. They show different activities that they use to work with children with emotional problems using activities that all the participants put in practice. We made several workshops about how the fairy tales and another activities about emotional inteligence, help to children.
Synergies with another projects with strategies that could be useful to prevent school failure and school dropout. They present several projects

Visit of the center of Play therapy. We visit this institutions and make: a- a presentation of our Project “Changing schools, changing lives”; b- several workshops to reflect about the “best teacher”, where we have to work as a team and another to know some techniques that help to those children who start to work their emotions for the first time as a group, to “brake the ice” and feel confortable together.
We learn about the Greek educational system and how the teachers coordinate with the social services and another private (or semi-private) services, as institutions who collaborate with the public services.
