Attributes Guide

GENERAL

Strength: Raw power. Affects grappling ability, necessary for advanced slams.

Conditioning: Affects both starting energy and how much each move takes out of you. Fighters with higher conditioning will fight more intensely until tired.

Agility: This is a combination of 3 attributes in Reflexes, Mobility, and Flexibility. Allows certain flying attacks and other quick, explosive actions. Affects success and defense against flying attacks and other fast-action moves. Allows use of rubber guard, omoplatas, and flying armbars.

Chin Strength: Tested against strength of attack before getting stunned or knocked out. Strikes to the head lower this value over the course of a fight.

Stun Recovery: How quickly you recover from strikes, slams, etc.

STRIKING

Footwork: Used when defending against strikes, particularly distance strikes.

Feints: If successful, small bonus to success of next strike.

Head Movement: Used to duck, avoid, or slip past a punch to the head. Affects punch speed on ground as well.

Punch Power: Affects standing and ground punches. Determines how hard you hit with punches.

Punch Technique: Primary factor in landing punches. Also affects ground punche

Hand Speed: Secondary ability to determining punch accuracy, also lowers chance of being grappled.

High/Low Kick Power: Affects high kick and low kick. Determines strength of kicks.

High/Low Kick Technique: Affects high and low kick technique. Determines how well you land the kicks.

High/Low Kick Speed: Affects high and low kick speed. Determines how fast you throw kicks.

Striking Creativity: Unlocks "spinning" and "flying" strikes. This is where you’ll unlock the flashy strikes.

Striking Defense: Ability to block or check punches and kicks rather than dodging. Affects both Guard Defense and Kick Defense attributes.

CLINCHING

Muay Thai Clinch: Primary attribute for utilizing the Thai clinch and to begin striking from that position.

Clinch Strike Speed: Elbow and knee speed in the clinch

Clinch Strike Power: Elbow and knee power in the clinch

Dirty Boxing: Tested when in control of clinch and wanting to strike. Punch power determines damage.

GRAPPLING

Grappling: Ability to grapple while wrestling.

Takedowns/Slams: Tested against Takedown Defense and Sprawl to take opponents down from wrestling clinch or "shooting in". Does not affect catching kicks and taking down. Also affects offensive slams.

Takedown Set Up: Affects chance of shooting takedowns succeeding

Takedown Speed: Affects chance of shooting takedowns succeeding

Takedown Defense/Sprawl: Affects Sprawl, standing takedown defense, and clinch takedown defense.

Ground and Pound/Wrestling Power: Elbow and knee power on the ground

Ground and Pound/Wrestling Technique: Elbow and knee accuracy on the ground

Ground and Pound/Wrestling Speed: Elbow and knee speed on the ground

Sweeping/Ground Escape: All attempts to get out from ground control (sweeping and ground escape) from a bottom position.

Positional Ability:Attempts to improve position while controlling on the ground.

Submission Creativity: Unlocks flashier submissions.

Submission Offense: Affects Arms, Legs, and Choke submissions. Despite listed as a ground skill, can be used standing at high enough values.

Submission Defense: Defending against all submissions from all positions.

Ground Control: Prevents sweeps, escapes, and passing from all positions.

Scramble: If both fighters are on the ground without one in control, this affects who gets position
