Doctoral Reception 2025
Leadership and service have played an important role in my professional growth as an educator, researcher, and doctoral candidate. Through teaching, mentorship, conference participation, and professional engagement, I have developed leadership skills while contributing to the educational community. These experiences reflect my commitment to lifelong learning, collaboration, and advancing educational technology. As I continue through the doctoral program, I remain committed to serving students, supporting colleagues, and contributing to the field through teaching, scholarship, leadership, and service.
2025 NJEA
As a Graduate Assistant in the Educational Technology Leadership program, I support faculty with departmental communication, program initiatives, educational technology projects, and student engagement activities. This role has strengthened my leadership, collaboration, and organizational skills while providing valuable experience in higher education administration. Working alongside faculty has expanded my understanding of academic leadership and reinforced my commitment to supporting student success.
As an adjunct professor, I teach undergraduate courses in Organization & Management, Economics, and Business Law. I develop engaging learning experiences that encourage critical thinking and connect classroom concepts to real-world business practice. Through instruction, mentorship, and student support, I strive to prepare students with the knowledge, confidence, and practical skills needed to succeed in today's workforce.

Attended professional learning sessions focused on instructional innovation, educational technology, leadership, and current issues in education. Participating in the NJEA Convention strengthened my understanding of emerging educational practices and reinforced my commitment to continuous professional learning.
USAII EDUShield Hackathon
Participated in the USAII EDUShield Hackathon, collaborating with a team to develop innovative solutions that addressed educational challenges through technology. This experience strengthened my skills in teamwork, problem-solving, critical thinking, and innovation while providing an opportunity to apply educational technology concepts in a collaborative, real-world environment. The hackathon also reinforced the importance of creativity, adaptability, and interdisciplinary collaboration when designing solutions for complex educational problems.
New Jersey Educational Computing Cooperative (NJECC)
Presentation: Simulation-Based Learning: From the Classroom to Corporate
Presenting at the NJECC Conference provided an opportunity to share ideas with educators and educational technology professionals while discussing the value of simulation-based learning in preparing students for career success. This experience strengthened my confidence as a presenter and expanded my ability to communicate research and instructional strategies to professional audiences.
Participated in the Mount Everest Leadership Simulation as the Group Leader, leading a team through a series of complex decision-making scenarios that required collaboration, communication, strategic thinking, and problem-solving. In this leadership role, I facilitated team discussions, coordinated decision-making, and helped the group evaluate information while working toward shared objectives under time constraints. The simulation strengthened my understanding of leadership dynamics, teamwork, and the importance of making informed decisions in challenging situations. It also reinforced the value of communication, adaptability, and collaboration when leading diverse teams.

My long-term goal is to contribute to the field through teaching, research, leadership, and service while helping prepare future learners for success in higher education and beyond.
