It is not necessary to be fluent in two or more languages; rather, it is necessary to compose a text that reflects the original text's spirit and meaning. Because of this, my professional tenet is honesty, and my objective is to eliminate language barriers. Translation may be a two-way road; You want your material to be accurately translated, and I want my translation to be worthwhile and my professional reputation to always be respected. That is why I am prepared to precisely execute any project's requirements, especially those for urgent orders, within the deadline you have set.

هي ليست مسألة إتقان لغتين أو أكثر؛ إنّما هي خلق نصٍّ جديدٍ يملك الرّوح والمعنى نفسهما كالنّص الأصليّ. لهذا السّبب، إنّ الصّدق هو مبدأي المهنيّ، وكسر الحواجز اللّغويّة هو هدفي. التّرجمة هي طريق ذو اتّجاهين؛ أنت تريد أن يُترجم نصّك بدقّةٍ، وأنا أريد أن تكون ترجمتي ذات قيمةٍ وأن تكون سمعتي المهنيّة موضع تقديرٍ دائمًا. لهذا السّبب، إنّني على استعدادٍ لإنجاز جميع متطلّبات كلّ مشروعٍ بدقّةٍ عاليةٍ، بما في ذلك الطّلبات العاجلة، في وقت التّسليم الّذي حدّدته.

1) General:

It encompasses the conversion of a text that does not include specialized terminology or field-specific intricacies from one source language into a different target language, and, therefore, it does not require a translator with extensive expertise in a certain domain. George Steiner, an American literary critic once said that “without translation, we would be living in provinces bordering on silence.” Accordingly, we can deduce that it is due to general translation that humans of different cultures have achieved effective communication, surpassed their differences, and worked in harmony to spread knowledge around the world. Here is a mind-blowing fact about translators: a professional one needs not more than an hour to translate 250 words, so a translator working full-time translates 520,000 words a year.

1) التّرجمة العامّة:

تشمل تحويل نصّ لا يتضمّن مصطلحاتٍ متخصّصةً أو تعقيداتٍ خاصةً بأيّ نطاقٍ من لغة مصدرٍ واحدةٍ إلى لغةٍ أخرى مستهدفة، وبالتّالي لا تتطلَب مترجمًا يتمتّع بخبرةٍ واسعةٍ في مجالٍ معيّنٍ. بفضل التّرجمة العامّة، استطاع البشر من مختلف الثّقافات تحقيق تواصلٍ فعّالٍ، واجتياز اختلافاتهم، والعمل بانسجام لنشر المعرفة حول العالم.

2) Financial:

Banks of all types, insurance companies, brokerage firms, and other financial institutions all require the assistance of qualified financial translators. This field of translation transforms a wide range of financial documents from one language to another. These documents can be related to real estate, insurance, economics, banking, business and accountancy, investments, and taxes. Although these institutions require financial translation for legislative purposes, they can also benefit in building trust with clients and deepening relationships with customers. Not only do financial translators possess an in-depth knowledge of multiple languages, but they are also often holders of finance-related degrees which provides them the vital financial terms and concepts of the industry.

2) التّرجمة الماليّة:

يقوم هذا النّوع من التّرجمة على تحويل مجموعةٍ واسعةٍ من الوثائق الماليّة - بما في ذلك العقارات والتّأمين والاقتصاد والخدمات المصرفيّة والأعمال التّجاريّة والمحاسبة والاستثمارات والضّرائب - من لغةٍ إلى أخرى. إنّ البنوك على جميع أنواعها وشركات التّأمين ومكاتب السّمسرة وغيرها من المؤسّسات الماليّة كلّها تحتاج إلى مساعدةٍ من المترجمين الماليّين المؤهّلين. إنّ المترجمون الماليّون لا يمتلكون معرفةً متعمّقةً بلغاتٍ متعدّدةٍ فحسب، بل أيضًا بالمصطلحات والمفاهيم الماليّة الأساسيّة في هذا الميدان.

3) Legal:

It involves the conversion of various documents, files, and recordings - needed by the criminal justice and civil systems - from one language to another. Legal translation is highly-demanded by law firms, corporate entities, and government agencies to translate licenses, policies, litigation documentation, confidentiality agreements, court and witness transcripts, etc. This field of translation might be the most delicate given the complexity of the law industry. Laws rely on notions that are extremely fluctuant and elaborately dependent on the country or region in which those laws are applied. Not to mention the versatility of legal discourse to the extent that the intended meaning can easily shift depending on the language of the expresser and even the language of the reader. In fact, the language used by lawyers is deeply embedded with technicalities that it has been given its own name: legalese. As a result, not only should legal translators hold legal degrees, but they also must have high degree of accuracy in translating since a single mistake can have serious repercussions for the client and can directly affect their rights.

3) التّرجمة القانونيّة:

تتضمّن تحويل مختلف الوثائق والملفّات والتّسجيلات - الّتي يحتاجها نظاما العدالة الجنائيّة والمدنيّ - من لغةٍ إلى أخرى. يُطلب المترجمون القانونيّون بشدّةٍ من قبل مكاتب المحاماة والكيانات المؤسّسيّة والوكالات الحكوميّة لترجمة التّراخيص والسّياسات ووثائق الدّعاوى القضائيّة والاتّفاقيّات السّرّيّة ومحاضر المحاكم والشّهود وما إلى ذلك. قد يكون هذا النّوع من التّرجمة الأكثر حساسيّة نظرًا لتعقيد عالم القانون. تعتمد القوانين على مفاهيم متقلبّة للغاية وتعتمد بشكلٍ دقيقٍ على البلد أو المنطقة التي تطبّق فيها تلك القوانين. ناهيك عن تزعزع الخطاب القانونيّ وتقنيّته إلى الحدّ الذي يمكن أن يتغيّر فيه المعنى المقصود بسهولةٍ اعتمادًا على لغة المعبّر وحتّى على لغة القارئ. نتيجةً لذلك، ينبغي على المترجمين القانونيّين أن يتمتّعوا بدرجةٍ عاليةٍ من الدّقّة في التّرجمة لأنّ خطأً واحدًا قد يكون له تداعياتٍ خطيرةً على العميل ويمكن أن يؤثّر بشكلٍ مباشرٍ على حقوقه.

4) Commercial:

May also be known as “advertising translation”, it converts materials related to business from one language to another, often with short deadlines. It involves the translation of an organization’s internal documentation and procedures, exchange of e-mails, marketing presentations, and advertisements. This market requires versatile language specialists but also marketing experts with profound knowledge of how to adapt the message to the target culture. Advertising translation applies to marketing content. This is commercial content that may require a creative translation process so that the author’s intention is not lost. The tone, the context, and the target audience must all be considered in advertising translation.

4) التّرجمة التّجاريّة:

قد تعرف أيضًا با "التّرجمة الإعلانيّة"، هي تحوّل المواد المتعلّقة بالأعمال التّجاريّة من لغةٍ إلى أخرى، وغالبًا ما تكون ذات مواعيدٍ نهائيّةٍ قصيرةٍ. وهو يشمل ترجمة الوثائق والإجراءات الدّاخلية للمنظّمة، وتبادل رسائل البريد الإلكترونيّ، والعروض التّسويقيّة، والإعلانات. يتطلّب سوق العمل هذا متخصّصين لغويّين قابلين للتّكيّف ولكن أيضًا خبراء تسويق يتمتّعون بمعرفةٍ عميقةٍ بكيفيّة تكييف الرّسالة مع الثّقافة المستهدفة. تنطبق التّرجمة الإعلانيّة على المحتوى التسويقيّ الّذي غالبًا ما يتطلّب عمليّة ترجمةٍ إبداعيّةٍ حتّى لا تضيع نيّة المؤلّف. يجب مراعاة كلّ من النّبرة والسّياق والجمهور المستهدف في التّرجمة الإعلانيّة.

5) Educational:

It consists of transforming educational courses from one source language to a different target language with the aim of making academic knowledge more accessible on a global scale. Translation in the educational system aims to make sure that teachers and students of all nationalities can comprehend one another on multiple levels. Translators in this field do not merely translate words but rather translate meanings in order for the students to understand the concepts being shared by the teachers. Understanding how the content is taught and being sensitive about the student’s culture-specific worldview plays a major role in this complex field.

5) التّرجمة التّعليميّة:

تتكوّن من تحويل الدّورات التّعليميّة من لغة مصدرٍ واحدةٍ إلى لغةٍ أخرى مستهدفة بهدف جعل المعرفة الأكاديميّة أكثر يسرًا على نطاقٍ عالميٍّ. تهدف التّرجمة في النّظام التّعليميّ إلى التّأكد من أنّ المدرّسين والطلّاب من جميع الجنسيّات يتمكّنون من فهم بعضهم البعض على عدّة مستوياتٍ. إنّ المترجمين في هذا المجال لا يقومون بترجمة الكلمات فحسب، بل يترجمون المعاني حتى يتمكّن الطّلّاب من استيعاب المفاهيم التي يشاركها المعلّمون. إنّ فهم كيفيّة تدريس المحتوى والدّقّة في فهم رؤية الطّالب الكونيّة الخاصّة بثقافته يلعب دورًا رئيسيًّا في هذا المجال المعقّد.
