I designed and implemented escape rooms for nursing education, targeting nursing students, experienced nurses, and newly graduated nurses. There are five escape rooms that I have used in my research, each of which is themed around medication, safety regulation, low blood sugar, sepsis, and hypovolemia. I worked with teaching faculty members at the College of Nursing at FSU, who contributed as subject matter experts and strived to reinforce the theoretical and methodological rigor of the research in escape rooms. Related research on puzzles and educational escape rooms is also listed below.

The works listed below do not currently belong to any of my research areas but show the potential to expand my research scope. Most of these are to solve real-world problems by applying instructional design, which, actually, returns to my utmost research interest.
