A Finalist in the Design & Development Competition
I was thrilled to be selected as a finalist in the Design & Development Competition at the conference with Truong Jean Huong. Participating in this competition provided me with the chance to showcase our innovative ideas and contribute to the discourse on instructional design. Engaging with other finalists and receiving feedback from esteemed judges proved to be a valuable experience that deepened my understanding of effective design principles in education.
A Poster Presentation about Self-efficacy in Game-based Learning
I had the opportunity to present a poster on my research about self-efficacy in game-based learning, which I prepared with Sam Sprenkle and Curt Fulwider. Sharing my findings with fellow conference attendees allowed me to highlight the significance of measuring self-efficacy in students in a proper way in gamified educational experiences. The poster presentation served as a platform for meaningful discussions, and I appreciated the chance to connect with others who shared a passion for leveraging technology to enhance learning outcomes.Ā
