A Short Paper Presentation about Sentiment Analysis of Student Conversations in Escape Rooms for Nursing Education
The full title of the paper is "Escape Rooms in Nursing Education: How GPA, Collaborative Problem Solving, and Gameful Experience are Related." The proceedings are publicly available. Unfortunately, I couldn't make it in person to give the presentation due to my flight schedule conflict. But thanks to our understanding chair, Dr. Cynthia Carter Ching, I could make a pre-recorded presentation video. I got three responses through the QR code at the end, which I plan to respond to the following week. I hope this opens up a new opportunity for collaboration.
A Volunteer for Registration and IT Support
I volunteered for three days, mainly for registration and IT support. The volunteering experience was very pleasant because the chairs and presenters were all so understanding and cooperative. Luckily, I could attend a session on co-design while volunteering. The four presentations were all very inspiring, with a brilliant idea of Dr. Papendieck about paradox in co-design. As I look into the co-design process of escape rooms for nursing education for the coming data collection cycle, this provided me with a new aspect to interpret the design process. Â
A First-Time Attendee Who Missed Out on So Many Things!
This was my first time attending ISLS, and I arrived on the second day. Due to my schedule conflict, I missed out on many interesting meet-ups, pre-conference workshops, and events for the first-time attendees. I plan to arrive ahead on time next year in Helsinki, though. Looking forward to ISLS 2025!
