Dr Abhishek Tiwari Head, CFM lab along with Mr. Suraj Bhan Mundotiya and Dr. Samir C Roy (ME Dept. IIT Ropar) has discovered a completely mechanical model which is semi-automatic for CPM motion
The machine works with a piston and a pulley system which stores the air while pulling the handle and the straightening of the limb is continuous and automatic with the controlled release of air.
