Scholarships

Overview

Each year Chick-fil-A Restaurant Team Members across the U.S., Canada and Puerto Rico can apply for scholarships through the Remarkable Futures Scholarship program administered by Scholarship America. This fall, the program is expanding and now includes two application and award periods, one in the fall and one in the spring.

Scholarship Opportunities

There are two scholarship award opportunities for eligible Restaurant Team Members:

• $1,500 Scholarships (Fall and Spring applications)

  • To be considered, Team Members must have at least a 2.5 minimum cumulative grade point average (GPA), demonstrated care and community service and a letter of recommendation from their Operator/employer.

• $25,000 Scholarship (Fall application only)

  • To be considered, Team Members must have at least a 3.0 minimum cumulative grade point average (GPA), demonstrated care and community service, financial need and an Operator letter of recommendation.

Note: Eligible Team Members can apply for the $1,500 scholarship in both Fall and Spring application windows, potentially increasing their annual scholarship total to $3,000.

Eligibility

Team Members employed by franchised Operators, Chick-fil-A, Inc. and COR Restaurant Services, LLC across the U.S., Canada and Puerto Rico are eligible to apply.

How to Apply

During the application periods, Team Members can visit cfa.scholarsapply.org or chick-fil-a.com/scholarships and select their Restaurant to apply.

Scholarship Key Dates

Fall 2026

• Sept. 15: Application Opens

• Oct. 27: Application Closes

  • The deadline for Team Members to submit their application is 6:00 pm EDT.

• Nov. 12: Recommendation Deadline

  • The deadline for Operators to submit their recommendation for Team Member(s) that have applied is 6:00 pm EDT.

Spring 2027

• Application to open early Spring 2027; Dates coming Fall 2026
