With each Team Member that joins our restaurant, our goal is to care personally and challenge directly in such a way that will promote both professional and personal growth. Through our interactive, personal training plans and personalized growth and development focuses, we strive to equip each individual with the same skills and qualities that great leaders possess.
By focusing on developing leadership skills in each of our Team Members, we believe that our guests and business will be well taken care of as our team strives to positively impact everyone with genuine, proactive and personal care.
At Chick-fil-A Teterboro Landing FSR, we believe our PURPOSE is...
Truett Cathy was the man behind this statement, and it is true that God was glorified in Truett's faithful stewardship and the positive influence that he was to those he came in contact with.
Truett believed that faithful stewardship and positive influence were the two most important things and we hold fast to this belief today.
Stewardship can be defined as "the responsible management of something or someone entrusted to one's care". This means that at its very core, stewardship is management. Here at Chick-fil-A, whether your position is at the bottom or all the way up at the top, each one of us has something or someone entrusted to our care and that makes us all managers. You are a manager.
Influence is defined as "the capacity to have an effect on the character, behavior or development of someone." When we consider this capacity effect others, it leads us to conclude that if we are influencing someone it means that we are leading them towards something. The "something" that we lead them towards can either be positive or negative. This means that, regardless of your position, you have the power to influence and lead. You are a leader.
To summarize and boil down what we just heard, let me provide 3 simple points.
You are a manager.
You are a leader.
Filter all of your tasks and interactions through this lens of management and leadership.
Remember
One who is faithful with very little is also faithful in much, and one who is dishonest with very little is also dishonest in much. ~ Luke 16:10

Willingness: A willing Team Member is someone who serves others & contributes to their success as well as someone who actively takes on additional tasks & challenges.
Vulnerability: A vulnerable Team Member demonstrates transparency with others by admitting mistakes & weaknesses & asks others for help to grow in those areas.
