Throughout history, people have made amulets or jewelry that serves different purposes.
The form you create does not have to be functional or wearable, but you must consider what your goal of this project is.
visual impact
does it look uncomfortable?
is it a symbol of comfort?
does it protect?
You will create an amulet, or a piece of jewelry that is designed to protect, or empower you.
This can be interpreted as loosely or as specifically as you desire.
Something can be made to protect or empower simply because it brings you joy.
A ceramic piece of jewelry can also protect or empower through the visual impact/ message it delivers based on the design elements.
You will learn about the elements of art through this project and pick one element to focus on to inspire your project.
