With deep reverence and devotion, on the auspicious occasion of Buddha Purnima, the Central Young Chakma Association extended its heartfelt greetings and warm wishes to all on this sacred day commemorating the birth, enlightenment, and Mahāparinirvāṇa of Lord Buddha.

In its message issued on the occasion, the CYCA stated that the timeless teachings of Lord Buddha continue to illuminate humanity with the values of peace, compassion, wisdom, morality, and non-violence. The Association expressed hope that the noble teachings of the Buddha would guide all living beings across the universe towards the path of harmony, understanding, and spiritual awakening.

Emphasising the relevance of Buddha’s teachings in the present times, the CYCA called upon the people, especially the younger generation, to cultivate kindness, discipline, mutual respect, and unity for the collective welfare of society.

The CYCA also urged everyone to reflect upon the universal message of compassion and coexistence propagated by Lord Buddha and to work together in building a peaceful and harmonious community.
