The Central Young Chakma Association (CYCA) is a socio-cultural youth organization dedicated to the welfare, unity, development, and progress of the Chakma community. Established on 25th October 1978, the organization has continuously worked to empower youth, preserve cultural identity, promote education, encourage leadership, and serve society through humanitarian activities.

For more than four decades, CYCA has remained a symbol of unity, discipline, service, and collective responsibility. Through the dedication of its members, volunteers, leaders, and branch units, the organization continues to inspire positive social change and strengthen the voice of the Chakma community.

Headquartered at Kamalanagar (Chawngte), Chakma Autonomous District Council, Lawngtlai District, Mizoram, CYCA operates through various branch committees and youth networks that actively participate in social welfare, educational programmes, cultural preservation, environmental awareness, and community development activities.

Under the leadership of Dr. Jyoti Bikash Chakma, the present President of CYCA, the organization continues its mission of building a stronger, educated, peaceful, and progressive society rooted in humanity and service.
