In exercise of the powers conferred under Section 16(2), read with Section 11(1)(c) of the Revised Constitution of the Young Chakma Association (YCA), 2018, the Central Young Chakma Association (CYCA) has formally approved the newly reconstituted Branch Committee of Kamalanagar-III Branch.

The approval was accorded following the successful completion of the branch reconstitution process in accordance with the constitutional provisions and organizational procedures of the Association. The newly constituted committee is expected to work towards strengthening the objectives and activities of the YCA at the grassroots level while promoting unity, discipline, and community welfare among the youth.

The new committee shall be headed by Dg. Nelson Chakma as President, who has taken over the responsibility from outgoing President Dg. D. Paresh Chakma. Other key office bearers include Dg. Uttam Chakma as Vice President, Dg. Jobath Chakma as General Secretary, and Dg. Phibir Chakma as Treasurer.
