What is Let's Talk Climate?

Let's Talk Climate is an interview series created by the teens of Central Climate Initiative. In this series we talk to experts in different fields from medicine to law about climate change. These interviews are to educate our community about climate change and to bring awareness to the multitude of ways climate change effects our lives. Dr. Kim Knowlton is a health scientist specializing in the human health impacts of climate change, particularly air pollution and extreme heat. She’s assistant professor of environmental health sciences at the Mailman School of Public Health, Columbia University; and Senior Scientist and Deputy Director of the Science Center at the Natural Resources Defense Council (NRDC) in New York.

Dr. Pamela Chasek is a Professor of Political Science at Manhattan College and the co-founder and executive editor of the Earth Negotiations Bulletin, a reporting service on UN environment and development negotiations since 1992. She is the author of numerous books and articles on global environmental politics and policy making, including climate change, biodiversity, chemicals, and land degradation, among other important topics.
