Chose to be eco-friendly at home

  1. Keep your fridge door closed as much as possible

  2. Compost your organic waste

  3. Eat a more plant based diet and purchase local produce and food products

  4. Invest in items that will last a life time, rather than cheaper items that will only last a few years

  5. Buy clothes and home goods second hand

Eco-friendly kitchen swaps

  1. Use cloths instead of paper towels and wash on a regular basis

  2. Use beeswax wrap instead of plastic wrap

  3. Use reuseable containers instead of plastic bags for food storage

  4. Use cloth napkins instead of paper napkins and wash on a regular basis

  5. Use metal straws instead of plastic straws

Chose to be eco-friendly during the pandemic

  1. Use reusable cloth mask (3 ply for best protection) and wash on a regular basis

  2. Use a cloth and disinfectant spray instead of disinfectant wipesand wash on a regular basis

  3. Use reusable rubber gloves (and disinfect them after use) instead of single use gloves

  4. Try to find disinfectants with sustainable packaging (ie. glass, paper)
