Classical Conversations is more than just a curriculum—it’s a Christ-centered community where families learn and grow side by side. Whether you're beginning your homeschool journey or seeking renewed direction, CC provides the support, structure, and encouragement you need to flourish. Our Community meets in the quaint town of Salado, TX, an area known for its charm, historic feel, and artsy, welcoming atmosphere. With a population of about 2,400, it is easy to find your way around and you can very quickly jump on/off I35 which runs the length of town.
We meet once a week on Thursday during our school year which runs from August to April. We have several breaks built in to our school schedule and we don't host any formal meeting session between Thanksgiving and New Years.
The Foundations and Essentials students meet for 24 weeks. Our Foundations Program runs from 9 AM - 12 PM and Essentials from 1 PM - 3 PM. Our Challenge levels meet for a total of 30 weeks from 8:30 AM - 3 PM.

Here’s how to get started:
Step One: Reach out to the Director of the Program in which you'd like to enroll a student.
We’re happy to answer your questions, share program availability, and help you decide if CC is the right fit for your family. You can find our contact HERE. A Director will get back to you as soon as possible.
Step Two: Visit a Community Day and attend an Informational Meeting.
Come sit in on a class, meet other parents, and see what makes our Classical Conversations community so special.
Step Three: Apply and Interview
Once your application and fee are submitted, we’ll schedule a family interview. After the interview and all necessary steps are completed, we’ll notify you regarding available placement at Central Bell CC. If a spot is available, we’ll guide you through curriculum needs and onboarding to ensure you feel confident, equipped, and welcomed into our community.
Parent Equipping
Upon your acceptance to Central Bell CC, we’ll walk with you through curriculum needs and onboarding so you feel confident and prepared. We have SEVERAL Parent Equipping events scheduled over the summer to help us reclaim our education and prepare for the school year ahead. The Directors and Tutors send out weekly correspondence through our Community App and dates will be announced there for the upcoming dates that help prepare us to lead and teach
We also have a yearly event called our Parent Practicum. This free event is a day of fellowship, discussions and real-life examples where you'll learn how the classical model works, why it’s effective, and how to apply it in your home. Whether you’re brand new to homeschooling or have been on the journey for years, Practicum offers fresh insight, practical tools, and spiritual encouragement.
