Many residents within our community not only do their own wildfire mitigation work, they also volunteer their expertise, equipment, and labor to help other residents complete critically needed risk mitigation work. The brigade also provides mitigation services for common areas within the community as well as special projects, like roadside fuel collection and other Firewise-related projects.

Currently, our Mitigation Brigade consists of 17 motivated individuals available to tackle wildfire mitigation projects and respond to other critical community issues like downed trees blocking roadways/driveways, winter-time culvert issues, and small landslides.
