TITLE: IIUM ERTL EXPERIENCES (Vocabulary Competition)

Objectives: (i) To enhance the use of English vocabulary

(ii) To motivate students to use English language intuitively

(iii) To improve speaking skills with correct pronunciation

Description: Vocabulary game where students will be given a theme and they have to list out the vocabularies according to the theme.

How to participate:

1. The host will prepare themes for participants.

2. Participants are to list out as many vocabularies possible according to the theme.

3. Participants are given 1 minute to list out the vocabularies.

4. Participants are to present their findings (vocabulary) with correct pronunciation.

5. Participants are to ensure that the vocabularies are related to the theme provided.

6. The format allows participants to speak out in a lively environment with correct pronunciation.

7. The whole activity must be done live and recorded.

8. The competition will be done in a class setting.

9. There will be three rounds (three themes provided) for the competition.
