3rd Grade

  This month students will celebrate KNOW-vember!  We will be learning about the history of pizza, the history of Thanksgiving,  and the history of the Statue of Liberty.

• Please note:  Kiddos will need to bring devices to class during the month of November.

   We are beginning our discovery of the school databases.   Students will use iPads to use our school databases (PebbleGo, True Flix, and CultureGrams) as well as many other helpful online resources to help them safely search the web.  I will show them how to use Dictionary Online, SafeSearch Kids, and National Geographic for Kids.  The first job is intended to be a quick way to practice safe online research habits.  You can find the complete list of safe research sites on my Symbaloo (also available on my website and Clever page).

Students will help to create posters about things they learn, give credit to the source from which they found it, and post it in the hall for others to see!
