SECTION A - approx. 1 hour

Questions 1-6 - shorter listening questions on 6 of your set works. You'll hear each one 3 times. Read the questions carefully and listen carefully! Know your keywords!

Question 7 - Dictation - you'll hear it 4 times. Use 2 playings for melody and 2 for rhythm. Listen for if notes go higher or lower. Look elsewhere, things are often heard somewhere else. Guess if you need to, you never know!!

Question 8 - Unfamiliar listening with a skeleton score. Here is where you may get a key signature question. Use your knowledge from your set works to answer these questions as it will be similar to one of them!

SECTION B - approx. 45m

Question 9 - Essay Question - Start writing straight away, you don't need to sit and listen to the piece you know! Remember - PEE
