You'll need to get access to the following programs or resources:

D2L - Your D2L course is automatically created for you. Log into MyHACC and click here to see your D2L courses

Zoom - All HACC employees have a Zoom account. Log into MyHACC and go here to download Zoom to your computer

Webcam, Microphone, and other Equipment - You will need a webcam and microphone or headset. If you don't already have them, go here to request hardware from IT

2. Preparing for remote teaching

You will need to create the following elements:

Recurring Zoom meetings

Add explanation in syllabus about how the schedule will work

3. Setting up D2L

Instructor Contact Widget - this is where you will share your Zoom link

Setting up Modules and Sub-Modules - this is where your content will go

Upload content:

  • syllabus

  • course materials
