CommonLit is a free site that offers students, teachers, and administrators the resources they need to be successful in their education, careers, lessons, and schools. Each of the provided resources are flexible, research-based, effective (provided by third part review), aligned with the Common Core State Standards, and created by teachers, for teachers. In leu of what is going on in the world today, we are seeing education take place almost completely digitally due to the implementation of distance learning. This website is a great resource to implement now as it provides educators the tools, they need to provide their students with the materials they need to still succeed in the classroom, even during this difficult time.

No Red Ink is a website with the goal of making writing fun for students. It uses information as the student does work on the website to guide instruction to their needs. Teachers can see color coded heat maps to see exactly where each student is struggling and guide instructions towards areas the whole class is struggling in.

Fiveable is a website offering students AP course resources to help them study. There are over twenty AP subjects offered where you can study from flashcards, example questions, trivia, study guides, discussion livestreams, and much more with other students. Cram sessions are available (for a small fee) for students to brush up on their skills and review probable content right before the test. Teachers can create dashboards where they can assign their students content and track their progress- ensuring everyone is prepped and ready for their AP exam!

Into the Book is a great resource for elementary students and teachers. The website allows for a student to log on and practice various reading strategies such as: summarizing, visualizing, questioning, inferring, evaluating, making connections, synthesizing, and prior knowledge. The website guides the student through interactive videos that help them practice the skills listed above. It also gives a bilingual option for students who speak Spanish. The videos are self-explanatory and shouldn't need much supervision from a teacher or parent. This website also gives teaching tools such as reading resources for each of the reading strategies that are mentioned above and key academic standards. According to the website, “Into The Book is an awesome resource because the lessons are relevant to student learning objectives, easy and fast to use…”. The website also gives resources for professional development.

Spark Epic provides free worldwide remote student access through the end of the school year (June 30th, 2020) by teacher invitation. Spark Epic realizes the need for students and teachers during the COVID-19 pandemic and offers library resources on all devices. It allows teachers to stay connected to their students by assigning books and collections and tracking reading activity and progress.
