Mission-us.org is a free site that focuses on students learning history through interactive ‘missions’ which align with federal standards. Each mission immerses students in a historical setting and allows them to make choices that show how people in the past experienced life. The site provides resources and activities for parents and teachers as well, including primary sources of historical events. Students will need to make a free account to access the interactive games and resources available. It is recommended that parents and teachers preview each mission as some content may be difficult for younger students.
