This page is information for staff about some of the more specialised support we can offer.
If you cannot find the information you need, please email: ccidigitalsupport@port.ac.uk
If you are a staff member and you need to do any large format or specialised printing, funding it yourself, please follow the guide on the Print Submission page.
If you are a staff member and you need to do any large format or specialised printing using a costcode as payment, please complete the following form...
STATUS: All papers available
Approval to use a costcode is required from your finance department before you fill out the form. Only staff members can use this form.
Once you complete the Costcode Form, email the files you would like to print to both ccidigitalprint@port.ac.uk and dominic.joyce1@port.ac.uk.
To arrange a group printing project, that is paid for using a course / project costcode, please follow the steps below:
Step 1:
Make a new folder in OneDrive and name it with the project name, followed by the course name, level and the month and year. For example:
Project Name - Graphic Design, level 5 - May 2026
Step 2:
Share this folder with ccidigitalprint@port.ac.uk, dominic.joyce1@port.ac.uk and rob.fuzzard@port.ac.uk
Then give us editing rights to all the contents.
Step 3:
Within the OneDrive folder, place a new Excel document and place a complete list of the students who will be submitting files for printing.
This helps us to identify which students are within the project if they ever come to see us for advice.
Step 4:
Have the students submit their files to the OneDrive folder with the following naming structure:
Student Name and Number - Paper Size
For information on paper sizes, types and prices, reference our website here.
Step 5:
Before printing can start, you will need to fill out our Costcode Printing Request form.
Approval to use a costcode is required from your finance department before you fill out the form.
Only staff members can use this form.
When all these steps are completed we will be able to print the files. We cannot book out printing slots and we print files on a first come, first serve basis. Please ensure students are given all the relevant information and that enough time is allotted to the printing phase. Problems do arise so the more time we have, the better the service we can provide.
