The journal Nursing Open has published the article “Longitudinal Assessment of Cultural Competencies in Nursing Education: Insights From Students and Nurse Educators.” This observational and descriptive study was conducted over three years within the Bachelor of Nursing program at the University of Malta. Online questionnaires based on the Cultural Competence Assessment Scale were used, measuring self-perceived competence and self-reflections on international experiences.
The project has moved forward with the publication of an article in the International Nursing Review. The descriptive, cross-sectional, multicenter study assessed the level of cultural competence among European nursing students after their first clinical experience.
The research team has published a study in the Journal of Nursing Scholarship, examining the cultural competence of nursing faculty across 71 higher education institutions in 17 European countries. This descriptive, cross-sectional study marks a significant milestone in the CCA-EUnurse project.
