K-12 Resources

As teachers, students, and families deal with school closures, PBS LearningMedia producers and educators have come together to curate a special collection of resources organized by grade and subject area. Find videos, lesson plans, and activities that support learning at home. Create a free account to save and organize content.

Featured lesson plans in this collection contain full contextualization for the media they include. Plan and adapt our lessons in creative ways, using the Lesson Builder tool, Google Classroom, Remind, and more.

Who izzit?

We believe that education can enhance the power of individuals to solve problems for themselves, their families, communities, and society at large.

To solve problems, people need knowledge and skills:

  • Critical-thinking skills, research skills, knowing how, when, and what questions to ask to dig deeper and gain understanding — question everything!

  • Scientific methodology.

  • Civil discourse skills — Empowering students with civil discourse skills allows them to become better leaders for our future. Teaching them that the ability to listen to, and respectfully discuss and debate with others, especially those who hold views contrary to their own, builds that foundation.
