Laboratory for Intelligent VEhicles (LIVE) conducts research and development on intelligent autonomous mobility with the aim of enhancing driver safety, improving convenience, and enabling task automation. Our lab designs autonomous driving algorithms for self-driving vehicles for passengers and task automations, and implements and validates them through simulations and hardware platforms.
Our research interests include:
Sensor data processing for autonomous driving
Motion prediction of surrounding agents
Motion planning and control of autonomous driving systems
Demonstrations of autonomous driving systems
More specifically:
Autonomous passenger/heavy-duty vehicles
End-to-end with safety guarantee
Predictive planning and control
Energy-efficient control
Fault-tolerant robust planning and control
Remote assistance/control system for unmanned vehicles
To address these topics, we integrates methods from dynamic system modeling, optimization, and data-driven learning techniques.
