Interested in leading a network?
The Catskill Regional Teacher Center runs many subject-specific networks. These networks are run by teachers for teachers and provide opportunities for teachers to share ideas, concerns, and resources. The networks are open to teachers of any subject or grade levels.
Teachers interested in leading a network should complete this form. Teachers leading a network will receive a $500 stipend upon policyboard approval.
Teachers are able to participate in professional learning asynchronously through badging. Badging allows teachers to learn in small chunks and publicly showcase skills. Badging typically consists of three parts;
Content. Typically in the form of an article or video.
Assessment. May be written or quiz based
Demonstration of practice or use of the knowledge. E.g picture or product.

The Catskill Regional Teacher Center is the proud organizer of the Catskill Regional History Day. This program enables students to develop and showcase meaningful learning. Regional History Day is a part of New York History Day and National History Day
The Catskill Regional Teacher Center supports Living History. Living History is an immersive learning opportunity for students. This highly memorable experience will have even your least motivated students engaged in learning about history. Contact us to set up training for your teachers. The CRTC also has a depot for teachers to borrow materials from.

Special Education teachers looking to extend their certification grade levels may be eligible for this extension. Please contact the Catskill Regional Teacher Center Director if you are interested in this series.
America 250 began in 2016 in anticipation of the United States semiquincentennial. The Catskill Regional Teacher Center began in January 2022 to organize local organizations to collate local resources. More information can be found on our Padlet page
