What I learned: 

I learned how to demonstrate an awareness of the concept Developmentally Appropriate Practices (DAP) and its relationship to curriculum development and implementation, evaluate learning environments for developmentally appropriate practice, and Develop strategies for curriculum planning which incorporate the diverse needs of children. 

How will it help in the future?

This course gave me an opportunity to observe an actual classroom. Therefore, I was able to create an idea on how to properly provide responsive care towards the children's needs, how to create a respectful and organized environment, and how to respect the children when interacting and engaging with them.
