a) Podcast Reflection Summary 5.5/6
I believe the podcast was my most successful, well-researched and in-depth aspect to this project. I used critical thinking, relational inquiry and research-aided analysis within the discourse and breakdown of each topic, ensuring each one presented connected to the rest of my website, especially my creative art project.
b) Scholarly Articles 2.25/3
I used a combination of both scholarly/non-scholarly articles within the verbal analysis of my topics, but I did attach additional scholarly articles below my podcast link to give the reader/listener additional scholarly research/context to read and review regarding reach topic, all of which are appropriately recent in their publishing. Therefore, given the external sources mentioned within the podcast, as well as the additional articles attached, I believe I did more than satisfactory on this portion.
c) Artifacts to Support Topics 2.5/3
All of my artifacts related to (at least) one of my five topics, and each topic had a minimum of two artifacts which added context to its significance in my project. The artifacts I chose/made are thought provoking, some are interactive, and all contribute to the greater idea of the most important aspects of my project. They all involve topics of what I've learned from relational inquiry, and some of my biggest Nurs-2001 takeaways are embedded within the scope of these artifacts.
d) Application of Relational Inquiry (4.5/5)
Relational inquiry was used to build the foundation of my topics, artifacts and podcase. They gave me structure, direction and context regarding how multiple health disparities/problems relate to one another, and how healthcare techniques are interrelated to patient outcomes and wellbeing overall. Application of relational inquiry was included in almost every question for my quiz, therefore, the viewer could use "what they know" to have a successful interaction and build a therapeutic relationship with Henry.
e) Creativity (2.75/3)
My project is, in my opinion, extremely creative and innovative. For example, instead of making all of artifacts just pictures/videos, I have created an interactive game the reader can participate in to get a better understanding of what I have learned about relational inquiry and the use of the HP lens, and then apply it to an interactive simulation with a patient. My website itself gives learning opportunities in many formats such as reading, listening and gaming, and for this reason, is both engaging and accessible.
f) Aesthetic Art Project Summary (150 words) (4.25/5)
The written portion of my aesthetic art project efficiently describes the elements of my piece and the motivations behind their use in supporting my topics of choice. Additionally, relational inquiry and the ways of knowing guide the meaning behind all aspects of my project, such as the colour red representing what we can't see in our patients, and the wrinkled pieces of paper representing the imperfection in all of us.
g) Picture of Aesthetic Art Project (4.5/5)
My aesthetic art project was authentically my idea and incorporated all topics; therapeutic relationships, the power of vulnerability, breastfeeding vs. formula feeding, the post-colonial lens and Indigenous Healthcare structures. These connections can be observed by scrolling down on my "Art Gallery Project" page and reading the correlation of each topic at the bottom. Additionally, the man in the picture -- Henry -- is the patient in my Case Study Quiz (found on my artifacts page) giving more insight into his story and needs.
