Nursing Philosophy

Nursing is, to me, a profession where one has the opportunity to provide hands-on care for patients while nurturing and healing them through the interdisciplinary approach of healthcare. The vulnerability associated with the nurse-patient established relationship allows for a trusting connection like no other. While in the most tragic and frightening situations, patients can often find most comfort through the reassurance of nurses; the ability to have this feeling of providing care every day to strangers is what makes this career so desirable to me.
