On several occasions, I have been called a 'professional student' on account of all the time I have spent at university. While it may seem as though I am only concerned with collecting qualifications, that is not the case at all: I am concerned with knowledge, skills, and different cognitive functions. Every time I engage with a new discipline—whether it be as a student or in a professional capacity—I learn more about the world. And while it may seem as though there is no relation between my professional qualifications and experience, the reality is that it all fits together like a beautiful tapestry. Knowledge makes my world go round, and I love any opportunity to share that knowledge with others.
