Grading

There are several types of assignments in the course and they are all access through our course site in Canvas. Some assignments are automatically graded upon your completion. Others assignments require my review or feedback. I use an assignment rubrics with grading criteria to grade written assignments. These rubrics are always available for students to review at any time from within our course site.

Assignment grades are weighted so please check our Canvas site "Syllabus" link for specific details regarding your class.

Assignment Types:

1. Chapter Assignments based on your reading

2. Chapter Quizzes based on your reading

3. Written Assignments (email, memos, letters, reports)

4. Oral Report(s)/Presentation(s)

5. Discussion Posting

6. Final Exam

Detailed instructions for discussion posts are provided in Canvas. Feedback and comments will be provided privately. In addition your grade may contain a post with additional written feedback and comments.

As an educator ourselves, I know being a student is hard work and can be stressful. To help reduce that stress and improve the likelihood of completing the modules in our course successfully:
