The new app is so easy to use and the weekly check-ins with Lisa really guide you in what you’re doing well/ what needs tweaking or changing to achieve YOUR goals. If it’s the gym you’re worried about, please don’t be. Everyone’s getting on with their thing. No- one is looking at you (something I have to remind myself now again too!)
My mindset is changing- especially around food (although still a working progress and will be!) I can see physically the changes in my body even over 12/14 weeks. This automatically makes me feel better and more confident than when I started. More importantly I can FEEL the change. I have a lot more energy and know that this is down to food- a fuel for my body. When I started I had lost routine. I hadn’t been to the gym in months. I found myself in regular binge eating cycles. I signed up at the end of Summer. I was stuck in rut and found myself in regular binge eating cycles. I felt I had lost a lot of muscle and physically felt horrible. I had lost confidence and a love for food and the gym. My graduation recently was a milestone and something I wanted to work towards and feel good for. I did. I did not want to see this as the “end goal” however. I want these behaviours to become habits and incorporate them in my lifestyle going forward.

I have gained (and still am learning) a lot about food and the benefits of protein in my diet. I have learned not to look too deeply into scale weight as it’s just a number. If it goes down very likely muscle does too, resulting in losing that toned look I wanted. Love it all and love the accountability.

The feic it mindset is gone, previously when I would eat over calories or go out the next day I would make a pig of myself and then feel like crap along with try starving myself to get the weight off ASAP. I now know how my body works, if my weight goes up after a night out, or because I’ve eaten more food or even drank more water I know it’s normal and to stick with it because it’ll come right back down - no more panic stations!
I have completed my 42nd week of weights this week. I know this cause I’ve been putting it on my Strava when I log it each week. I’ve ran 2 x 10km races, one which I especially enjoyed and found very easy. And for the first time since I was 16 was captain for the senior AND junior GAA team this year. I’ve also kept up my running when not training for Gaelic.
Lisa is always so understanding, ya go off track that’s okay, get up and start again. Ya can’t get a workout or run done, that’s okay that’s life. It’s not rigid, which makes it so much more enjoyable and practical. I can actually stick to it even with going out and having dinners with friends.
If you're scared to start, don’t be! Lisa always understands, the one thing about Lisa is she’s been where I am, where you have and she’s done it. She’s not gone to extreme measures or impractical lengths to do it.

Since signing up to coaching with Lisa, I have lost a stone in weight but the real transformation has been the health benefits, nutritional knowledge and lasting lifestyle habits I gained.

Before signing up, I had spent ages doing a lot of exercises and trying to reduce the quantity I ate when all the time my proportions of carbs, protein and fat were not conducive to weight loss or muscle development so I was getting nowhere.
It's not just an exercise program it's about educating people on nutrition including the proper balance of macronutrients like carbs protein and fats as well as fostering healthy lifestyle habits.
