Cass High School offers a variety of Advanced Placement courses. These courses are some of the most rigorous courses offered in the high school setting. They are challenging courses with a college level curriculum taught by specially trained high school teachers. By taking these courses, students further develop skills such as critical thinking and time management, along with improved study habits. All of which prepare them for success in college. An additional benefit of AP courses is that students are also able to earn college credit by earning the specified scores on the AP Exams that are administered at the end of each school year.

Students taking an AP course are highly encouraged to take the AP Exam in the Spring.
All students are required to pay the testing fees before March 1, 2020. The cost of the exam is $90.00. Some students may qualify for a reduced fee of $53.00. Some students enrolled in an AP Math or Science course, may qualify to take the exam for free. Please contact the school AP Coordinator to see if you student qualifies.
