Volunteer Opportunities
Volunteer Program
At Casper Humane Society we have a range of options if you are wanting to volunteer your time and help homeless animals in need. Currently, we are accepting adult volunteers 18+, if a minor would like to volunteer we ask that an adult who has completed safety training accompany them. Below you will see the orientation dates set in place. If you have any questions, please feel free to call us at 307-265-5439, we'd be happy to help you.
Community Service
We are proud to partner with the Wyoming Department of Probation & Parole, as well as the Youth Diversion Program to give non-violent offenders the opportunity to earn community service credit.
Please come to the shelter to start your Community Service Application.
Tales with Tails
The Casper Humane Society and Casper College collaborated to bring the Tales with Tails program to life. Kids from ages 6 to 17 can participate in the program. It enables kids to read in a non-judgmental environment. Studies have shown that reading to animals is beneficial to the children and the animals.
