Errors during sign up are sometimes general in nature and we do not have specific information to provide at the time of the error. In most cases, we can give you more information when you contact us.

Some of the most frequent errors have to do with trouble verifying an address associated with your credit card or identity verification error. Other things to check if you attempt to register again are to make sure that the credit card expiration date is in a mm yy format, as sometimes smart devices autofill with inaccuracy. Please keep in mind that these measures are in place for fraud prevention and we apologize for any inconvenience. We would love to help you further if needed. 

We take consumer identity protection very seriously. Given the value we represent to deliver instant digital currency to our members, we must take every precaution to make sure that everyone who registers for CashPass is a legitimate member who is accessing our app with valid and verifiable identity information. This protects us as a company from theft (allowing us to give such great cash back and keep the lights on), and the consumer at large from unauthorized use of stolen credit card information. All information provided on our site is encrypted, masked, and we do not outsource customer service. We also do not sell purchasing information or customer lists. 

Cash back is earned when digital gift cards are purchased from any of our participating merchant partners. We need your credit card to make this purchase on your behalf. Credit card information is securely stored in your account profile to make purchases of digital gift cards easy and fast. You may be at a store register or in a restaurant when you want to buy, so we don’t want you to have to enter credit card information to finalize every transaction. Having a credit card stored makes the process and user experience quite simple. Our partners are PCI 1 compliant, the highest level of security standards in the United States; systems are audited and certified four times a year by an independent firm for compliance. And we will never sell or distribute your information to a third party either! 

Once you register your code, it is no longer valid for use. You will access the app by signing in with your username and password. There can be occasions where a lower case letter “l” is confused with the number “1” or similar situations.  If your invitation code is coming back as invalid, please just email support@getcashpass.com with your full name, invitation code, and the name of the business that signed you up so that we can verify your code.
