Exciting News for 2026-2027!  NT Schools will now have open enrollment for UPK students. 

There are no plans for a lottery and we will take as many as we can to fill our proposed new location.

Before Coming to Pre-K Checklist: 

• Make a registration appointment at 716-807-3568.

• Must be 4 on or BEFORE December 1, 2026. 

• A current physical within the last year. 

• Incoming students should be working towards independent toileting by the beginning of school.  Diapers/Pull ups are discouraged.

Pre-Kindergarten Readiness 

Although Pre-K is your child's first formal educational setting, so many skills come from the home that set up your child for success within the classroom.   

There are many tools that can be used online to support foundational abilities, most importantly as parents/guardians we can enable our kiddos to be more independent with their self-help skills. This includes toileting and independent bathroom skills.  

In addition to motor skills, we can model appropriate social and emotional skills that they can add to their "toolbox".  We can also optimize screen time with meaningful TV programs that emphasize feelings and interpersonal communication skills. 

Using age-appropriate speech and communication are essential for classroom progress and for their safety.  Students should be capable to express any needs that they may have.  

In  the Pre-Kindergarten Readiness section, we included a screening tool called Ages & Stages that will help the parent gauge where the child is developmentally.
