Every once in a while, we run into a situation that stays with us long after the appointment is over. A kitty who desperately needs help but whose family is going through a hard time. A rescue cat who arrives matted, scared, and uncomfortable. A senior kitty whose owner is doing everything they can, but the cost of care is still out of reach. And sometimes we meet a cat whose parent has passed away, and the family has suddenly inherited a kitty who has been unintentionally neglected during the difficult transition of losing their loved one.

For a long time, we handled these situations quietly on our own. We covered what we could, when we could, and we never talked about it. A few months ago, we began testing a small internal version of this program to see if it could work in a sustainable way. The response was gentle but steady, and it showed us that people truly do want to help.

That is why we are now opening our Donate a Grooming program to the public.

This fund allows us to step in when a cat truly needs care. Not because it is convenient. Not because it is profitable. Simply because it is the right thing to do. Donations go directly toward providing grooming services for cats in shelters, rescues, or difficult personal situations where comfort and hygiene make a real difference in their wellbeing.

Some people ask why we do not simply donate all of these services ourselves. The honest answer is that we already donate as much as we can, but we are a small business with real operating costs. Grooming supplies, equipment maintenance, fuel, and labor all add up. When we donate a full groom, we absorb every one of those costs. With the help of this fund, we can say yes more often and help more cats without compromising the care we provide to our regular clients.

Some donations cover a full groom. Some cover part of one. Some help us say “yes” in moments when we would otherwise have to say “I am sorry.” Every contribution, no matter the size, becomes part of a small safety net for the cats who need it most.

2. Add a Donation During Booking

If you are scheduling a grooming appointment, you can add a donation during the booking process. Just select the Donate a Grooming add‑on and choose the amount you would like to contribute.
