Roy
Hailing from the picturesque West coast of Ireland, Roy Coffey, lovingly known by clients as “Irishfella,” stands as not only Carolyn’s life partner but also her esteemed collaborator in the realm of cat grooming. After serving as her dedicated assistant for four years, Roy embarked on his independent grooming journey, leading his own grooming team since February 2019.
Clients consistently describe Roy as gentle, patient, and wonderfully calming, especially with nervous or first‑time kitties. One client shared, “Lovely to talk to and very gentle with my kitty,” a sentiment that reflects the warmth and confidence he inspires.
Behind the scenes, Roy is also known for his willingness to take on the more challenging cats with courage and steady hands. He is the groomer who does not shy away when a kitty needs extra support, and that blend of soft presence and steady resolve makes him uniquely gifted at helping both sweet and spicy cats feel safe.
Whether he is chatting softly in his Irish accent, shaping a flawless haircut, or helping a shy cat feel brave, Roy’s work embodies the heart of Carolyn’s Mobile Cat Grooming: skill, empathy, and genuine love for every feline he meets.
Beth
I’ve been a cat person my entire life. My own cats have always been Persians, Himalayans, and Exotic Shorthairs—so flat faces and fluffy tails are truly my specialty!
I’ve served as the director of South Texas Persian Rescue for over 25 years and previously worked with the Animal Defense League as both an adoption counselor and foster care coordinator. Simply put, cats have always been at the heart of my life.
For the past three years, I’ve worked with Carolyn’s Mobile Cat Grooming as Carolyn’s assistant, learning the ropes and honing my skills. I’m so excited to have the opportunity to help you—and help keep your kitties happy, healthy, and looking their best!
Miri
Howdy, I’m Miriamele! I grew up in a small Texas town and have been chasing down any animal I could get my hands on since birth. Despite my love for all creatures, I was confined to a cat-only home throughout my childhood, and because of this our small clan of cats were subjected to my sole attention. Through homemade clothing, forts, toys, and the occasional photo shoot they found a way to still tolerate my schemes.
After deciding to leave Bee, the cat I was given at 13, to live out her twilight years in the comfort of my family home, I came to find myself without a pet. This is when fate brought me to Carolyn, and I finally acquired the perfect job; One that allowed me socialize with animals of all kinds, and to have a real reason to hold cats against their wishes! After a childhood of lovingly disturbing my cats peace, I felt at home. As I continue to learn and practice on kitties of all types my love for the job grows deeper, and I would be honored to have the opportunity to work with your cats!
Carolyn
**Carolyn often works without an assistant, and sometimes she learns on short notice that she will be working alone. Your calm presence is helpful during any grooming appointment, and it can be especially important when Carolyn is solo. She may need you to offer gentle pets, a small treat, or to hold a paw here and there. If you cannot stay nearby, please let us know so we can plan accordingly. **
Tina
Meet Tina, our esteemed Lead Hair Traffic Controller at Carolyn's Mobile Cat Grooming. In this pivotal role, Tina serves as the point of contact for appointment inquiries, adeptly managing client Puur-files and ensuring a seamless scheduling process. Her exceptional organizational skills keep our team in line and on track.
Originally introduced to Carolyn's Mobile Cat Grooming as a client, Tina's journey began when her family was adopted by a neighborhood cat, now affectionately named Rosie. Recognizing Rosie's grooming needs, a Google search led them to the expertise of Carolyn's team. Fast forward over nine years, and Tina, along with another feline addition named Big Ben, found herself transitioning from client to colleague.
Recently retired from her career in law enforcement admin, an opening in Hair Traffic Control was a great work-from-home opportunity for Tina, who thrives in her role. Her love for the job, dedication to her co-workers, and unique perspective as a long-time client enhance the customer experience. Through her passion for feline care and grooming, Tina aims to provide reassurance and exceptional service to both existing and new clients alike.
Hannah
Welcoming Hannah: From Cat Client to Cat-min Coordinator! Once upon a whisker, Hannah was just a client with a couple of fabulous felines and a dream: to spend her days surrounded by fluff, friendship, and feline chatter. Some of you may have spotted her lending a paw to Carolyn or Roy—always cool, calm, and covered in cat hair and now she’s officially joined the HTC and admin dream team at Carolyn’s Mobile Cat Grooming! We’re paws-itively thrilled to have her keeping our calendars purring and our operations running smoother than a freshly groomed cat!.
Hannah’s been manifesting this gig since day one. “One day,” she said, “I’ll work at Carolyn’s Mobile Cat Grooming and talk about cats all day.” And guess what? That day is meow. With two kitties of her own and a soft spot for every furball she meets, she’s finally living her dream job: talking cats, loving cats, and helping our team keep tails wagging and whiskers gleaming.
We couldn’t be more excited to welcome this longtime friend turned colleague—because when Hannah’s around, every day is a pawsome one.
Rose
As Carolyn’s daughter, Rose was pretty much raised in the world of cat grooming. She grew up watching her mom build Carolyn’s Mobile Cat Grooming from the ground up and became the company’s very first employee, as well as the first of many assistants to learn the art of grooming at Carolyn's side.
Rose has been grooming cats throughout the DFW area for nearly a decade. Over the years, she’s worked with every kind of cat and coat you can imagine, including plenty of cats who have very strong opinions about the grooming process. She occasionally heads down to San Antonio and Austin to fill in as a groomer when needed, too.
Growing up in the business gave Rose a pretty unique perspective on cat grooming. She's been learning from her mom from the very beginning and has continued to build on those skills over the years. Today, she’s part of Hair Traffic Control, helping keep the family business running while still staying connected to the grooming side of things.
Cats and cat grooming have been a huge part of Rose’s life for as long as she can remember. At this point, she can’t really imagine it any other way.
