There are 3 specific new sources of power that should be identified - they replaced old sources of power.
The next Big Idea is to identify what New Building Materials were developed!
They would have replaced the use of wood and stone - a stronger more durable material
The third Big Idea is that there were now New Ways to Work - with all of these new changes that were brought forth from the Industrial Revolution, how do you think that impacted everyday work life?

An activity you can do is take each new idea and think about your everyday life, how does the new power sources impact your everyday? Do you have to drive a car to get groceries?
