What are the New Sources of Power?
There are 3 specific new sources of power that should be identified - they replaced old sources of power.
The next Big Idea is to identify what New Building Materials were developed!
They would have replaced the use of wood and stone - a stronger more durable material
The third Big Idea is that there were now New Ways to Work - with all of these new changes that were brought forth from the Industrial Revolution, how do you think that impacted everyday work life?
If you can identify these 3 Big Ideas, and know what came out from them, to take away from the Industrial Revolution you are well on your way!
An activity you can do is take each new idea and think about your everyday life, how does the new power sources impact your everyday? Do you have to drive a car to get groceries?
List your daily routine and what would be different without these big changes made during the Industrial Revolution.
