When it's necessary to collect cash or checks on behalf of CBC member organization, CBC Representatives should make every attempt to deposit funds in the secure CBC mailbox as soon as possible. The mailbox is located close to JPII's front reception desk, to the right of the statue of John Paul II, under the stairs.
When making a deposit, representatives should use the CBC Deposit Form to fully document not only the amount of the deposit, but the purpose and the funds account the funds should be deposited in.
Please write legibly on the deposit form including:
Account number the funds should be applied to
The actual account number is requested to ensure funds are credited to the proper account. This is important in certain situations where clubs may have restricted accounts for more than one purpose
Refer to the CBC chart of accounts or direct questions to your club representative
Name and signature are for the person preparing the deposit; used in the event of any questions
Total amount of cash to be deposited
List of individual checks to be deposited
When depositing a large number of checks, it's very helpful to put the check in the order they are listed on the deposit form.
