During my third year as a science research student I am working on the correlation between the Major Histocompatibility Complex II and histolgogic grade in lung cancer. All of my research is involved with patients who have stopped smoking for a certain amount of time. I am pursuing the question of what is the relationship between the Major Histocompatibility Complex II Expression and histologic grade in lung cancer cells? I am working with my mentor and teacher to complete a scientific paper on my topic and prepare for the WESEF competition I will take part in later in the year.
