About Me
Hello! My name is Cara Drapala and I am currently a third year student in the Science Research Program. This is a website that displays all the work I have done in Science Research so far. Throughout my journey in this program I have researched an array of different topics. I started off my first year researching radiology and how it can be used to help further our knowledge of what is going on inside the human body. Towards the end of my first year I transitioned into specific cell research relating to cancer. I have continued this research into my second year looking at how different cells, specifically CD4 T cells, are affected by cancer and if they can in turn help eradicate the cancer present. For my third and final year in this program I was looking at data on patients who have lung cancer and the relationship between two factors involved in these patients cells. The two factors I spent my time looking at were the major histocompatibility complex and histologic grade. Here you can find all my work from Fox Lane including: paper, presentations, scientific awards, and collected data. I hope you enjoy!
