Welcome back to another exciting school year at Captain Gray STEM Elementary. I am the art teacher at Captain Gray, Nate McEachen.

I am excited to see all of Captain Gray’s students for a creative new year.

Students come to art for 45 minutes once a week. 5th and 6th graders can participate in Art Club during their lunch recess time. Each grade level creates different pieces of artwork throughout the year. Students will be able to experience painting, drawing, sculptural practices as well as learn about famous artists and their art.

Students will also experience art from different cultures around the world and of course express themselves as an individual. I am excited to see what your student will create this year in art!
