(NB. Each segment is transmitted in digital, first, and then repeated in voice.)

BEGINNING:

I will be Net Control for the Capital Area ARES Emergency Net.

We meet weekly on Wednesday at 7:00 p.m. Local time

for the purpose of providing information and training for emergency communications.

ALL DIGITAL MESSAGES BY NET CONTROL WILL BE RETRANSMITTED IN VOICE.”

to do so except if you have emergency traffic.

“Emergency traffic may break this net at any time.

No prior check-in for emergency traffic is required.

current location, and
say the word "traffic" if you have traffic

or other business for the net.

“Stations checking into the net are requested to remain on

the net frequency until the net is closed or permission to secure

has been granted by Net Control.”
