Terminology/Abbreviations
NOS - New Old Stock - Original spares produced in the 80s.
Repro - A New Reproduction Part, designed to look like an original part.
Grade A - Fully restored, no defects or NOS part, vapour blasted and Cerakoted.
Grade B - Second hand condition, good useable condition.
Grade C - Unrestored part, will require cleaning and/or repairing before use. Spares/repairs.
Are the bikes built from NOS parts or used parts?
Both - However, I can select or order in more NOS parts if NOS parts are preferred. NOS parts which have to be bought in, will increase the end price.
Some people though prefer used 'grade B' parts with a bit of battle damage. These parts are then freshly painted/restored, but retain the patina. Parts currently available in-stock will reduce the end price.
How much does a bike cost?
A complete restorations starts from £3000. Using NOS steel wheels.
£3500 if rebuilt stainless steel wheels are preferred.
