The Birmingham and Fazeley Canal is a 15 Mile canal that runs from Brindley Place in the City Centre of Birmingham that runs to Fazeley near Tamworth. The Birmingham and Fazeley Canal starts in Birmingham City centre at the Birmingham Mainline Canal at Old Turn Junction, This is next to the NIA and National Sea Life Centre at Brindley Place. The Canal runs through City centre passing BT Telecom Tower and at Aston Junction it meets the Digbeth Branch Canal, a short canal leading to The Grand Union Canal, A mainline Canal from Birmingham to London. The Birmingham and Fazeley Canal continues to Spaghetti Junction, where underneath the Motorway at Salford canal Junction, it meets with the Tame Valley Canal and Birmingham and Warwick Junction Canal, which also leads up to The Grand Union Canal at Bordesley Junction. The Birmingham and Fazeley Canal then heads out to Minworth, Curdworth and then on to Kingsbury Water Park. The Canal then continues to Fazeley Junction where it ends just short of Tamworth and meets with the Coventry Canal.

Birmingham and Fazeley Canal (Part 1):
In part one we walk from Brindley Place at Old Turn Junction from the Birmingham Mainline Canal, down the Farmers Bridge Locks through the city centre with old and new buildings either side and above to Aston Junction, where the canal meets with the Digbeth Branch Canal (A short canal leading off to the Grand Union Canal). then we begin the descent down the Aston Locks and making our way to Salford Junction (Underneath Spaghetti Junction) where the canal meets with the Tame Valley Canal and the Birmingham and Warwick Junction Canal.

My walk along the Digbeth branch Canal, starting at Aston Junction
TAME VALLEY CANAL (3):
The final part of my tame Valley Canal walk, finishing at Salford Junction.
GRAND UNION CANAL (1):
The first part of my walk along The Grand Union canal, starting at Salford Junction.
Birmingham and Fazeley Canal (Part 2):
Continuing from part one at Salford Junction where the Birmingham and Fazeley meets with the Tame Valley Canal and Birmingham and Warwick Junction Canal, I follow the towpath along to Hansons Bridge, near Minworth. This section of the canal makes up national Cycle Route 533. NCR 534 leaves the canal at Hansons Bridge for Sutton Park.
Birmingham and Fazeley Canal (Part 3):
Continuing my walk along the towpath from Hansons Bridge near Minworth and making my way to Curdworth Bridge, passing two more of the Minworth locks and passing a couple of canalside pubs along the way.
Birmingham and Fazeley Canal (Part 4):
Continuing my walk along the towpath of the Birmingham and Fazeley Canal from Curdworth Bridge, passing under the Curdworth Tunnel and on down The Curdworth Locks to Kingsbury Water Park, just beyond the bottom lock.
KINGSBURY WATER PARK:
A circular walk around Kingsbury Water Park, starting and finishing at The Birmingham and Fazeley Canal, where part 4 finishes and part 5 begins...
Birmingham and Fazeley Canal (Part 5):
The final part of my walk along the full length of The Birmingham and Fazeley Canal, starting at the canalside entrance to Kingsbury Water Park where we finished in part 4 and walking the last section to Fazeley Junction in Fazeley where the canal meets the Coventry Canal.
